NEW STYLE OF PLAYGROUP ON OFFER TO LOCAL PARENTS...

Playgroup NSW is pleased to bring its new facilitator led PlayPLUS Playgroup to Sutherland, Gymea, Blakehurst and Yarrawarrah, giving local parents even more choice to find a Playgroup that suits them and their child.

Music and dance, indoor and outdoor play, story-telling, dramatic and creative play are all part of PlayPLUS, which brings together the strength of a parent managed Community Playgroup with the expertise of an experienced facilitator. Parents continue to attend the group, assuming volunteer roles as with other Playgroups, but the children's play experiences are guided by a facilitator employed by Playgroup NSW. A creative, age and developmentally appropriate play program is facilitated alongside parents to provide a range of activities for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

Considerable planning goes into PlayPLUS Playgroup with a play program that is enjoyable for both parents and children alike. The desire of parents to participate alongside their children in a quality early childhood experience, but with the guidance of a facilitator, has led Playgroup NSW to the creation of this new service.

PlayPLUS is currently running at the following times:

Sutherland

Under 5s- Mondays 10.00am - 12.00pm

Blakehurst

Under 2s - Wednesdays  9.30am to 11.15am

Under 5s - Wednesdays  10.00am to 12.00pm 

Gymea

Under 5s - Tuesdays 10.00am  12.00pm

     Fridays 10.00am to 12.00pm  

Yarrawarrah

Under 5s- Thursdays  10.00am to 12.00pm 

Siblings welcome, and siblings under 12 months of age are free. Morning tea is provided.
